Empowering Artists to Create, Connect, and Thrive

FIMLA’s Dedication to Cuban Heritage & Post–Hurricane Melissa Aid

At FIMLA, we honor the resilience, culture, and creative spirit of the Cuban people. In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, our mission expands with renewed purpose: to support the preservation of Cuban heritage, uplift affected communities, and stand together in rebuilding what carries our history, rhythms, and identity.

As we showcase Cuba Libre by Cristi Hernz, a song inspired by the strength of the Cuban people and the transformative power of music, we dedicate this moment to raising awareness, unity, and support. Music has always been a lifeline in Cuban culture, a symbol of resistance and hope, and a bridge connecting generations. Through this release, we reaffirm FIMLA’s commitment to cultural preservation, artistic empowerment, and humanitarian aid.

FIMLA stands with the Cuban community today and always, honoring our roots, amplifying our stories, and supporting the path forward toward healing, creativity, and liberation.

Our Mission

At FIMLA, our mission is to empower Miami’s emerging artists and fuel creativity that knows no limits. We believe art has the power to inspire, connect, and transform communities, and we’re here to make sure every creative voice gets the chance to be heard.

Through mentorship, resources, and meaningful opportunities, we help artists build confidence, sharpen their craft, and share their talents with the world. Our goal is to nurture a thriving artistic community where creativity flourishes and new ideas come to life.
